Soulshine is our first company with Special Purpose Corporation designation, which is impressive in and of itself. Their thoughtfulness and commitment to sustainability is evident in many areas; particularly for their growing class. We also love their willingness to share their packaging sourcing, organic pesticides/ bio control use with other companies, and we hope other companies take the offer, and follow their lead. Ponder is a quiet and classy presence in the Central District, that many in the neighborhood are still finding out about. As a new presence in the market, they impressively lead the entire industry being the first store to independently test all vendors for pesticides, at their own cost. Ponder demonstrates great commitment to values-led business practices in many areas, and we look forward their continued leadership and development as a company. Ponder are wonderful folks, who the market is lucky to have. Dockside is in their 6th year as a company, and it shows. As a retailer, they are unparalleled in their leadership as a retailer in virtually all of their business practices. They founded their company on the principles of the triple bottom line: people, planet and profit, and they are absolutley real, and really wonderful people too.
